Karthik Rapaka

Hello! Welcome to my site.

 

I am a final year PhD candidate specializing in the area of Organization Theory at the Rotterdam School of Management, Erasmus University. My dissertation research focuses on understanding the early-stage conditions, interactions, and consequences of social mission and impact-focused organizing. 

 

I am an organizational ethnographer by research training, educator at heart, and interested in studying the enablement of social entrepreneurship in resource-constrained (low-income and low-literate) contexts such as urban slums and remote rural areas. Prior to my doctoral studies in the Netherlands, I spent a dozen years working across corporate and development sectors in the US and India respectively.
